Are you facing problem to install Apache, PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin on Windows XP…?

I think many of you know that it’s not easy to install an Apache web server with MySQL, PHP and Perl. Especially, when you are dealing with PHP 5.x and MySQL on Windows XP.
So I was looking for some kind of consolidate pack of these, that can help to install these without any hassle and finally I found an installer that installed all these for me without any problem —“XAMPP”
XAMPP is an easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl etc. It is really very easy to install and to use - just download, extract and start.
Yeah I love this installer, also includes Perl on the same platform. Their team have plans to include Ruby on Rails(first ever 100% OOP Language in open source world) in their next version.
Wamp is another one. Open source is getting more and more easier day by day.
XAMPP is a complete and Open Source Web development solution for windows,linux and max. XAMPP also can be used as a Web hosting solution but XAMPP is not recommend this without some security settings because it comes as a insecure package. Most of the installer have security holes so usually these kind of solutions are recommended for developers only, not for productions.
